uni-putter EZ-3 - Tour Model
I made my first Boomerang In 1997 and I got so addicted to the challenge
I sat about trying to find a way to beat the machine. Well,
it took me close to a year to figure out a stroke good enough to
get close and it's taken me another nine years and over a million
putts to conceive, test, and build a putter that's worthy of the
stroke. This year I finally achieved my goal and the result is the
Boomerang uni-putter EZ-3.
While I was hitting all those putts and testing countless theories,
strokes and putters on the Boomerang I figured out that every putter
works better from an optimum set-up. But I also figured out that
most putters are designed so anybody can use them any old
way. I've got a real problem with that. So
I designed a putter to automatically repeat an optimum set-up for
anyone that uses it. The
result
is that the EZ-3 hits straighter putts and putts which die on-line
for a tighter dispersion pattern.
The EZ-3
sits flat on the ground and automatically gives you a neutral hand
position without any conscious effort. It also gets your eyes in
the correct position and when you hit putts from this neutral and
optimum set-up you see your line better
and minimize any side-spin you put on the ball so you can hit your
line easier and roll putts straighter the first time and every time
you use it.
The EZ-3
is a putter that actually resists a poor set-up. It's a putter that
needs to be used correctly and when is will reward you with improved
accuracy and consistency. Immediately you'll find lip-outs dropping
in, putts rolling straighter and everything dying on-line rather
than wiggling off line at the death. It
feels like finding a casino where the odds are in your favor!
The EZ-3
makes consistent putting like riding a bicycle. In the same way
a bicycle shows you where to sit, steer and apply power the EZ-3
shows precisely where to put your hands, eyes and the ball for best
results. Once you've got this optimum set-up the only thing left
is the stroke. And whether you use BoomTech or a conventional stroke
you'll be delighted at the improved accuracy and consistency the
EZ-3 gives you. And all this is before we even talk about the quality
of strike or the feel on the face which are both excellent.
The EZ-3 is a quality putter. It's been cleverly engineered, hand
made from the finest marine grade stainless steel and as I'm only
making a maximum of 100 pieces in 2008 I think it will make a sensational
gift for that special pro in your life.
