How
it works:
The Boomerang's target functions like a spirit
level to help you identify a perfectly level
surface. That's handy because when you know
the putt is straight but your ball still goes
right or left anyway the only thing left to
blame is your stroke.
Conversely, when you can roll a ball through
the centre of the target 50 times in a row it
gives you genuine confidence in you're technique.
But remember, to beat the Boomerang putts not
only need to be straight, they also require
perfect distance control too.
If you don't think the Boomerang looks challenging
remember that if a ball is an inch too long
or too short it's coming back to you to try
again - hence the name Boomerang. It's precisely
because the device is so demanding that your
putting is forced to become more consistent
and aggressive too. Practice doesn't make perfect,
perfect practice makes perfect and that's what
you get with a Boomerang.
The
Boomerang is a clinical test of line and distance
control and while I hate turning away sales,
if you don't like challenges then the Boomerang
may not be for you. On the other hand, if you
want to dedicate a few minutes a day to your
practice then you can expect to get pretty good
at the skills necessary to hit straight putts
with accurate distance control.
Originally
designed for tour professionals the Boomerang
is compact, lightweight and portable so you
can take it anywhere and get a professional
putting lesson and tour quality feedback wherever
you are. Haven't got a suitable putting surface?
Get one of our Carnoustie Putting Mats
(stimpmeter 11-11.5) and you'll have everything
you need to groove your muscle memory for tournament
play.
And
if you want to see how it should be done then

World Record - Brian has a repeating stroke
to die for.
Enjoy
your practice!
